These days he tends to take responsibility for the advanced training of both the Adult and  Junior Students.

JOE.JPG (4677 bytes)Sempai Joe Foreman is the newest of the full time Instructors yet his dynamism and infectious enthusiasm make him an excellent Instructor. He has only begun to dabble in the tournament scene but already with much success. Despite being an excellent kata player, Sempai Joe prefers only to compete in the sparring events. Recently returned from overseas, Sempai is now teaching at Ashburton

Sempai Leon Romary is another of our young Sempai's that this Organisation is happy to have Instructing for us. Sempai Leon is as with all of our Instructors, dynamic and enthusiastic. Again another tremendously successful tournament competitor in Kumite and Kata Leon can raise the dead with his exuberant classes. Leon is currently the AKF Australian National Kumite Champion in the 70-75kg division as well as the Australian National Kumite Champion in the Open Weight Division.

The Assistants to the Instructors at each of the dojo's provide a tremendous support to all the members of the Australian Goju Karate. Along with the Instructors the assistants ensure that the members are all well supervised in their tuition during classes making sure that any student who requires assistance with any aspect of their training receives that essential advice and support.
